The violent criminal doesn’t think twice about tucking a loaded handgun in his pants before hitting the streets in search of a new target . . .
His next victim — an innocent, hardworking and law-abiding citizen — knows she’s in real danger.
She knows the revolver she keeps in her dresser could save her life — if she could just take it with her.
But she hasn’t yet filed the paperwork for a Carry Permit — or been able to get the time off from her waitressing job to get “officially” trained.
Or had the money to pay the expensive fees mandated by Minnesota’s state government before they’ll “allow” her to exercise her Second Amendment rights to both keep AND bear arms.
So she obeys the law and leaves her revolver at home.
And she loses her life as a result.
You see, the gun-grabbers know good and well criminals don’t ask for permission to carry firearms.
Their UNCONSTITUTIONAL “regulations” and “requirements” on carrying a concealed weapon are meant to do nothing more than undermine the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens just like YOU.
I think it’s high-time Minnesotans said “enough is enough!”
As you’ll see, this petition insists your State Representative and Senator publicly support and seek roll-call votes on the Minnesota Constitutional Carry bill.
If passed, the Minnesota Constitutional Carry Bill would restore the right of every law-abiding Minnesota citizen to carry a gun to protect themselves and their families — WITHOUT going through a bunch of bureaucratic rigmarole or adding their name to a government-run database!
In short, if you’re legally able to own a firearm, you’re legally able to carry it.
Period.
This is the way it’s been done in Vermont, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona and Wyoming for some time.
And just in the past two years, Constitutional Carry has passed in Kansas, Maine, Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri, West Virginia and now, New Hampshire.
In Maine, it passed with a Democrat State Senate.
In Missouri and West Virginia, it passed with a Democrat Governor.
So why can’t it happen here in Minnesota?
The answer is, it CAN — with your support for Minnesota Gun Rights today.
You see, despite the hand-wringing of nanny-staters like BILLIONAIRE anti-gun activist Michael Bloomberg, none of the states with Constitutional Carry are plagued with vigilante justice or Old West style shootouts.
That should be no surprise.
Just the threat of running into someone who is armed is enough to convince many career criminals to think twice.
That’s a big reason why statistic after statistic proves that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens means less crime.
In fact, according to a recent FBI “Crime in the United States” report, gun sales have hit record highs in recent years while violent crime has dropped dramatically!
And a study commissioned by the Obama White House — which was supposed to help generate momentum for gun control — found that firearms are used in defensive cases up to three million times per year!
That study also found that those who have a firearm are less likely to be injured in a criminal attack than those who depend on a thug’s good will.
During the 2016 elections gun owners STORMED the polls which resulted in a 77-56 pro-Second Amendment majority in the House and a pro-gun majority in the Senate.
NOW is the time for my colleagues to deliver for the pro-gun folks like you who elected them.
And although he’s probably not running for reelection, Governor Mark Dayton is trying hard to buddy up to Second Amendment supporters to solidify their support for whoever his party picks as their nominee to replace him!
If you and I can plop Constitutional Carry on his desk, Governor Dayton will either sign and pass it into law, or he can veto it and make Constitutional Carry one of the biggest issues in state politics, setting gun owners up for yet another major victory in the 2018 elections!

The truth is, there are plenty of politicians in BOTH parties who talk a good game on the campaign trail.
But as soon as the legislature goes back into session, they work to stop pro-gun bills from even coming up for a vote.
Sometimes, they even work with gun-grabbers like Michael Bloomberg to pass new anti-gun schemes!
A public, roll-call vote on Constitutional Carry is their worst nightmare.
Either we’ll get the votes to pass our bill — or every single wolf in sheep’s clothing in St. Paul will be exposed.
It’s a win/win situation.
When gun-grabbers are exposed, they go down in defeat just as they did in 2014 and 2016 here in Minnesota — despite massive campaigns by BILLIONAIRE gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg.
In fact, in the twelve races Minnesota Gun Rights targeted this year with everything from U.S. Mail, to Internet ads, radio and door-to-door work, ten were won by Second Amendment supporters!
But victories at the ballot box are wasted if they’re not translated into true advances in policy.
And I promise you, I didn’t decide to run for office to deliver nothing but the status quo.
I ran to make a difference for freedom.
That’s why I was so happy to hear that Minnesota Gun Rights has launched an all-out campaign for Constitutional Carry — and why I’ve agreed to help them.
Today, with the 2017 session of the Minnesota State Legislature already half over, Minnesota Gun Rights is really counting on your help.
Their goal is to generate at least 150,000 petitions from Second Amendment supporters insisting that my colleagues take action on Constitutional Carry.
That means they’ll have to pull out all the stops with:
>>> A massive statewide mail and email program designed to generate pressure on politicians;
>>> A statewide media tour where Minnesota Gun Rights will work talk radio and local TV explaining why Constitutional Carry is so important;
>>> A state-of-the-art Internet and social media campaign exposing any politician who dares to stand in our way;
>>> Hard-hitting Internet, radio and newspaper ads calling out anti-gun politicians who oppose Constitutional Carry.
Each and every one of these contacts will send a loud-and-clear message to my colleagues: “Support Constitutional Carry or find another job!”
Trust me. This will get the politicians in St. Paul to listen.
But Minnesota Gun Rights won’t be able to send this message without you.

I don’t know what you can afford.
All the gun-grabbers’ regulations and bureaucratic red tape on carrying a concealed firearm do absolutely NOTHING to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.
All they do is create more innocent victims by stopping law-abiding citizens from legally carrying firearms to protect themselves and their families.
It’s up to you and me to wipe these infringements on our Second Amendment rights off the books here in Minnesota.
