Yet another back-door gun control bill has been introduced in the Minnesota House.
Despite the absolutely crushing defeat that anti-gun legislators took at the polls last November, anti-gunners are ‘doubling down’ on their attempts to pass gun control here in Minnesota.
I hope you’ll help me send a message to weak-kneed legislators and the gun-control crowd in St Paul that gun owners didn’t fall asleep the day after the November elections — more on that below.
As you saw in the video, this bill would be a huge gateway for anti-gunners to take massive swings at our gun rights with no fear of political retribution.
If passed, HF1393 would move the Primary date from August to June, but it would also move the filing deadline for candidacy back into early APRIL!
This means that after the filing deadline passes and an anti-gun legislator sees that they have no challenger for the primary, they can launch an all-out assault on your gun rights and vote for the worst forms of gun control during the last months of session with no fear of losing their seat!
Gun owners like you and me can’t let this stand!
A law like this will absolutely be used by anti-gunners to launch assaults on your gun rights like never before.
Tell them to vote NO in committee, and vote NO on the House floor!
Gun owners didn’t empower the current majorities so they could pass draconian, anti-American legislation like HF1393.
We gave them the majority to pass REAL pro-gun bills like Stand-Your-Ground and Constitutional Carry.
So call your Representative right now and tell them to vote NO on HF1393 right away!
