After establishment “political-cover” organizations went all-out increasing “ratings” and “endorsements” to try to save those anti-gunners, that’s really saying something.
Not only that, but Minnesota Gun Rights members and supporters were the ones who stood tall in the 2017 session and hammered on the House Rules committee to move Stand-Your-Ground law!
Anti-gunners in the House were desperate to kill off any pro-gun legislation before it gained momentum but MGR members and supports poured an avalanche of pressure on the legislature and forced them to take action by moving Stand-Your-Ground.
Because of all that activism, Stand-Your-Ground is ready to fly out of the House and into the Senate the moment they gavel in in February.
You see, Minnesota Gun Rights isn’t staffed by a bunch of slick, high-priced lobbyists who show up once every three years when a gun bill starts moving.
I live right here in Northfield with my wife and son (and one on the way!) and I want Minnesota to remain free as badly as you do!
And the truth is, we depend on the generosity of good folks like you for all of our effectiveness.
You see, Minnesota Gun Rights doesn’t cozy up to politicians or cut deals in smoky backrooms.
Sure, that means I don’t get invited to any fancy cocktail parties in St. Paul.
We don’t win “lobbyist of the year” awards by anti-gun politicians like some organizations do.
And that’s just fine by me!
Minnesota Gun Rights exists for one purpose: to defend and advance your Second Amendment rights!
That’s why I hope you’ll take a moment to join or renew your membership in Minnesota Gun Rights right away.
The truth is, the fights we have going on right now are among the most important we’ve faced in our organization’s history.
As you know, anti-gun radicals all across the country and right here in Minnesota are constantly clamoring for gun control, using every tragedy to their Leftist advantage.
Senator Ron Latz has also renewed his commitment to assault our gun rights in the 2018 session.
And with only a one vote majority in the Senate and a Governor who is no friend to gun owners, it’s going to be a bare knuckle brawl to stop all gun control and pass Stand-Your-Ground law.
Folks, these fights are far from over — especially with the election season coming up next year!

We’ll do this using mail, email, targeted online media and even hard-hitting radio ads to ramp up a tremendous amount of pressure.
