I could hardly believe the words I was hearing when I first received the news.
Shortly after the early-morning bombing of a Mosque in Bloomington, “Protect Minnesota” launched a full frontal assault, blaming Minnesota Gun Rights for somehow having “advance knowledge” of the attack!
To gun-grabbers and their pals, Second Amendment supporters are nothing more than hate-filled troglodytes who are just itching for the opportunity to kill and destroy.
In fact, one Congresswoman admitted as much, calling members of one national gun organization “domestic security threats!”
While “Protect Minnesota” later apologized, I don’t believe there’s any accident they launched this PR assault.
Their goal is to make political environment as toxic as possible because they know the Fake News media is in their back pocket, willing to demonize any American who dares to stand up for the Bill of Rights or the “evil white supremacists” who wrote them.
They know they’re only one Republican shy of having the votes to RAM gun control through the Minnesota Senate.
So they’re doing everything they can to poison Minnesotans’ minds against law-abiding gun owners like you and me.
As you may remember, Senator Limmer was the one Republican to join with Senator Ron Latz and vote AGAINST passage of Constitutional Carry in the Minnesota Senate in April of 2015.
And as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he’s used his power so far this year to stonewall pro-gun reforms — including Stand-Your-Ground.
The truth is, just a few weeks ago, a cell phone store clerk with a Carry permit was forced to pull his firearm and shoot an armed robber who was holding up the store at Inver Grove Heights.
Gun-grabbers went berserk!
So Senator Limmer and others know how badly we need passage of Stand-Your-Ground.
But he’s REFUSING to lift a finger.
Why?
Is it because he’s planning on becoming the key vote for one or ALL of the gun-grabbers top priorities, including:
*** THE DISARM MINNESOTA ACT.
Under this legislation, any member of your family — even an estranged
spouse who sole intent is to make your life hell, or a left-wing in-law who
can’t stand the presidential candidate you voted for — could have you
stripped of your gun rights with ZERO RECOURSE!
In other words, gun-grabbers want to be able to take away your guns
based upon nothing but hearsay!
*** “UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECK” (AKA STATEWIDE
GUN REGISTRATION) LEGISLATION.
Make no mistake. The ONLY way to enforce such a scheme is for state
government to keep track of every gun and gun owner in the state! And
as you and I know, registration is just the first step toward outright
CONFISCATION!
*** THE “GAG ACT.”
This scheme is designed to effectively muzzle Second Amendment
supporters during election years with a ball of bureaucratic red tape.
Once politicians no longer fear blowback from Second Amendment supporters at the polls, there will be no stopping their radical gun control schemes.
That’s why I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action.
The truth is, the more heated and toxic our political environment becomes, the more likely weak-kneed politicians — who we should be able to count on to support gun rights — will start looking for a compromise to get a glowing article written about them in the Star Tribune.
You see, there’s nothing the media loves more than politicians who stab pro-gun voters in the back.
And politicians who are nervous about his or her reelection hopes often can’t resist the temptation.
That’s why you and I have to make our voices heard IMMEDIATELY.
Like you, I had big hopes for the upcoming session of the Minnesota State Legislature. But today, I fear we could be just one Senate vote from disaster.
After all, should gun control start moving in the Senate, there’s virtually no telling where it could end up.

gun-grabbers are attempting to poison the minds of citizens against

politician who doesn’t immediately come out against gun control should it
start to move.
