The start of the 2022 legislative session is coming up fast and our sources in St Paul tell us that far-Left Democrats and America-Last Republicans may be pushing HARD for gun control during the shortened session.
More than that, Governor Walz and Senate Republicans are debating whether or not to hold a “special session” in just a few weeks to pass “essential bills.”
You and I both know that our backwards politicians in St Paul are always looking for any opportunity to gut freedom and put tyranny in its place.
That’s why I’m asking you to read the email below and then sign our important petition demanding your politicians stand up and FIGHT for our freedoms and for the future of our state!

The fact is, Minnesota Gun Rights normally spends the bulk of its yearly budget between the January and May legislative session, fighting to stop gun control, advance the 2A, expose bad politicians and save freedom.
But 2022 is an election year and that means we’re going to be fighting EVERY SINGLE DAY of the year, advancing our cause during session from Jan-May, running massive election programs from June-Nov, and laying out huge resources to do so.

“With this pen, I’ll sign it (gun control) into law.”
The statement from Governor Walz could not have been clearer, Minnesotans will be on the front line in the war against the Second Amendment next year — a fight that is only a few months away!
I wish I could say that Minnesota Gun Rights is fully prepared for this fight, and that there is nothing for gun owners to worry about.
But that is not the case.
The truth is, I need your help to STOP Tim Walz and make sure that this organization is ready to fight like hell next session, since Minnesota Gun Rights is the only thing standing between desperate politicians and our cherished right to keep and bear arms.
You see, Minnesota Gun Rights had to fight a three-pronged war this year as we defeated EVERY SINGLE PIECE of the gun control agenda that Gov. Walz and his friends threw at us, as well as holding back the first wave of gun control from Joe Biden’s administration.
On the one hand, we had to run a huge campaign in the Iron Range, to make sure that DFL lawmakers up North didn’t forget what gun owners would do to them at the ballot box if they went along with Gov. Walz.
At the same time, we had to hold Senate Republican’ feet to the fire and make sure they didn’t make a gun control deal with the DFL and sell us out like they tried to do in 2019.
And we also had to fight — and continue to fight! — against Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s gun control bills in Congress, like H.R. 127, H.R. 8 and H.R. 4953, stalling them in the process!
As every gun owner in the state knows, you and I have been successful in this magnificent fight, and we saved our right to
keep and bear arms so far!
But this fight was not cheap in the legislature and it’s ongoing in Congress.
In fact, Minnesota Gun Rights spent TENS of THOUSANDS of dollars in the first five months of the year, mobilizing hundreds of thousands of gun owners who helped us shut down the push for gun control!
And while it seems like we just put these threats down days ago, the fight for gun control is coming at us like a freight train. Just some of what we’ll be facing next session includes:
>>> A major fight over ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation; which would allow a liberal judge to order your firearms to be seized before you’ve been arrested, charged, or convicted of anything!
Under H.F.694, almost anyone can urge the judge to disarm you, a bitter ex-spouse, a liberal family member, or an angry neighbor who hates you because of your love of the Second Amendment.
What’s more, these complaints can come from anyone and from anywhere, including a family member who lives in California that you haven’t seen in 20 years!
>>> Another push for a statewide gun registry here in Minnesota; which would put you in prison for daring to give family firearms to your adult children/grandchildren without first obtaining permission from the government.
Study after study shows that legislation like Senator Ron Latz’ S.F. 1431 would do nothing to stop violent crime, as almost every mass shooter of the last decade passed these background checks prior to carrying out their attacks!
The real purpose for this legislation is for nothing other than creating a massive database of every gun and every gun owner in our great state — and we all know why angry socialists want this database!
>>> A concerted effort to ban the AR-15 and the magazines that come with them; which is the most popular rifle in the nation and likely the most popular firearm in Minnesota!
It’s no secret why lawmakers want this firearm banned, it’s easy to operate, holds a nice amount of ammunition, can be configured to almost any personal preference, and can be easily run by anybody!
And it’s all of those reasons that make this firearm the perfect weapon to defend ourselves against criminals and tyrants!
And this could just be the tip of the iceberg, as crazed lawmakers also want to ban all magazines that hold over ten rounds, force mental health background checks on all gun sales, and some are even talking about a ban on EVERY semi-automatic firearm in the state like they tried in 2018 with H.F.3022!
That’s why we need to create a grassroots firestorm right now, to make sure every lawmaker in St Paul knows that they will be held accountable for any vote against the Second Amendment!
So sign your petition telling your St Paul politicians to STOP THE WAR ON GUN OWNERS!
And we need to send this message in both the House AND the Senate.
You see, while Republicans still control the Senate with a razor thin Republican majority, the GOP is renowned for stopping PRO-gun bills in the Senate and for holding hearings on gun control – and giving the Left what they want.
Worse, several Republican Senators stood with radical anti-gunners and sponsored a statewide gun registry bill in Minnesota in years past and others may do so again in 2022 — giving Bloomberg exactly what he wants and destroying that slim majority!
Simply put: this is an all-out EMERGENCY, and I need you to take immediate action!
To start with, please sign and submit your “STOP THE WAR ON GUN OWNERS!” petition to Minnesota Gun Rights right away.
But if it’s possible, I hope you’ll consider a generous contribution as well.
Minnesota Gun Rights is already preparing our battle plans for 2022, and your contribution will help us to use every tool at our disposal to fight back against Governor Walz, Joe Biden and their allies, including:
*** Rolling out 50,000 pieces of direct mail to gun owners in every corner of the state, to make sure that everyone who cares about the Second Amendment knows what’s going on.
The petitions that these letters will generate terrify lawmakers, as it reminds them that gun owners in their district don’t believe the fake news and that they will remember their votes during next year’s elections.
*** Unveiling a targeted social media program, going after specific lawmakers in specific districts in the Senate, who we believe are thinking about betraying gun owners.
Social media allows us to get our message into every house that matters in these districts, very quickly.
*** Adding tens of thousands of emails to our alert list.
Simply put, the pre-written emails that lawmakers receive from gun owners in their districts scare them immensely.
These emails are a constant source of worry to gun-grabbers in St. Paul, as they come from inside their districts, and legislators know that if we can mobilize these gun owners during session, we can do the same thing during the elections!
*** If possible, we need to be ready to take our message on the radio and TV networks if these bills get to the floor for a full up or down vote.
But for us to run the program that I laid out above, Minnesota Gun Rights simply must recapitalize after our expensive 2021 legislative session.
