We had a great WIN for gun owners today in the Senate Judiciary Committee today! Just this afternoon, notoriously anti-gun Senator Ron Latz tried to put his A4 Amendment (Red Flag Gun Seizures) and his A2 Amendment (Universal Gun Registration) on some weak gun bills that were being heard in the Senate Judiciary committee. As gun owners well know, we’ve been battling Senator Ron Latz for YEARS in Minnesota and have defeated him every time. And he knows it, too. That’s why today he was RAGING against Minnesota Gun Rights members in committee for all the pressure we’ve been putting on him and his anti-gun friends in St Paul. He was furious that the internet ads which MGR are funding have exposed his Universal Gun Registration bill for what it is! In spite of his rage and his most desperate attempts, both amendments went down in flames in a vote of 6-3. Minnesota Gun Rights was on hand and witnessed the crushing defeat of these bills and it was glorious. This was truly a fantastic win and a testament to the power of grassroots gun owners and the members of Minnesota Gun Rights. All session long our members have poured heat on the anti-gun socialists and weak, moderate RINOs in St Paul. More, we’ve been viciously attacked by these politicians for standing our ground on the Second Amendment. But today, we hammered back… and WON! One thing is for sure, there’s nothing quite so beautiful as seeing the rage on Senator Ron Latz’ face at being defeated by Minnesota Gun Rights once again. This fight will go on from here and there will be opportunities for anti-gunners to try to press their agenda, but MGR is going to be there every step of the way to combat these anti-American politicians and hammer back on behalf of our members.
