One vote in the Minnesota Senate could be all that stands between you and I and a new disastrous gun control scheme.
Just one.
With a stronger majority of supposed pro-gun legislators in the House, you might think your Second Amendment freedoms would be safe.
But after the House refused to move any pro-gun legislation this year — and anti-gun Governor Mark Dayton ITCHING to sign a gun-control bill during his last year in office — I’m afraid Second Amendment supporters may be sitting ducks if we’re not prepared.
That’s why I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action.

As you’ll see, this petition insists your State Representative and Senator vote “NO!” on any legislation designed to weaken our gun rights here in Minnesota.
The fact is, many legislators fear the political winds are changing, and if they don’t start supporting the gun-grabbers’ radical agenda, they could lose their seats in 2018!
In fact, the state of Oregon just passed an outright GUN CONFISCATION scheme sponsored by a Republican!
And Senator Ron Latz (D-St. Louis Park) has introduced effectively the same bill here in Minnesota, SF 1262.
My jaw nearly hit the floor when I first read the contents of his DISARM MINNESOTA Act.
Under this legislation, any member of your family — even an estranged spouse whose sole intent is to make your life hell, or a left-wing in-law who can’t stand the presidential candidate you voted for — could have you stripped of your gun rights with ZERO RECOURSE!
In other words, Senator Latz wants to be able to take away your guns based upon nothing but hearsay!
I’m sure you can see just how dangerous this bill is . . .
That’s why anti-gun groups backed by Michael Bloomberg’s BILLIONS, have made passing this policy — under the guise of “mental health” — one of their top priorities.
And they’re prepared to spend whatever it takes to make it happen.
In fact, in Washington State, they spent more than $3.5 million!
So-called “mental health” gun control schemes have already passed in states like Florida and South Dakota — under massive self-described “pro-Second Amendment” majorities.
In recent years, gun-grabbers have adopted “mental health” arguments as their silver bullet in RAMMING gun control into law.
After all, they know no one wants to run into a madman with a gun.
But what the gun-grabbers never admit is that anyone who has been adjudicated as a danger is already banned from owning a firearm.
The key word there is “adjudicated.”
What gun-grabbers want is the ability to strip any law-abiding citizen of his or her Second Amendment rights at will with no due process.
And that could be just because they don’t like your race, religion or politics!
Sadly, as I highlighted above, the gun-grabbers have made some huge steps in this direction.
The fact is, our rights are seldom more in danger than when we think they’re secure. So we can’t allow ourselves to be lulled into a false sense of security by thinking, “it can’t happen here.”
Minnesota has been one of Michael Bloomberg’s top targets for years now — and he’s going to do everything he can to make our state the next to fall.
That’s why Minnesota Gun Rights is preparing to turn up the pressure on the Minnesota State Legislature to ensure they get our message.
As I told you recently, we’re spending the summer months churning up the heat on Minnesota legislators over Stand-Your-Ground.
But I’m afraid we’re going to have to stay every bit as committed to stopping gun control.
That’s why Minnesota Gun Rights plans to gather up to 50,000 of these “STOP the DISARM MINNESOTA Act” petitions and deliver them the moment the State Legislature goes back in session.
With your help, I’m also planning to:

Amendment supporters to this threat;
>>> Work talk radio and Minnesota’s political blogs to explain why gun-
grabbers’ “mental health” schemes are nothing more than a Trojan Horse

politician who doesn’t immediately come out in 100% opposition to
Senator Latz’s scheme.
Needless to say — especially with our ongoing work to ensure passage of Stand-Your-Ground in Minnesota — I don’t have the funds sitting in the bank to pay for this kind of program.
