With just weeks until the next session of the Minnesota State Legislature, I wish I had better news.

But after horrific shootings in Las Vegas, Nevada and Sutherland Springs, Texas in 2017, the Gun Control Lobby is more emboldened than ever.

In fact, Twin City gun-grabbers State Rep. Dave Pinto (D-Saint Paul) and State Senator Ron Latz (D-Saint Louis Park) are preparing to go on the attack the moment the State Legislature gavels in!

Worse, few state legislators are willing to draw a line in the sand and say, “NO MORE GUN CONTROL!”

Instead, many believe the political winds are blowing the gun-grabbers’ way, so even some of our supposed allies are now signaling “compromise!”

That’s why I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action to help Minnesota Gun Rights stop the gun control train wreck speeding toward us.

As you’ll see, this petition insists that your State Representative and Senator vote “NO!” on any new gun control scheme to come before the Minnesota State Legislature.

You see, with Governor Mark Dayton set to leave office, he’s been pushing hard to hand BILLIONAIRE gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg a big gun control win in Minnesota.

Thanks to your help, we’ve held off their past anti-gun attacks.

But I’m afraid legislators in BOTH parties believe the political environment has changed and the timing has never been better for gun control.

With only a one-vote pro-Second Amendment majority in the State Senate, our anti-gun statewide media is convinced the Gun Control pressuare they generate out of our two mega-cities will be enough to grease the skids for any radical scheme they can dream up, including:

***  So-called “Universal Background Checks.”

This harmless-sounding scheme has been Michael Bloomberg’s top
priority for years now. Here’s why: it’s nothing more than anti-gun code
for STATEWIDE GUN REGISTRATION!

There’s no way such a scheme can be enforced without tracking every
gun and gun owner in the state! And as you and I both know,
registration is just the first step toward outright CONFISCATION.

***  A statewide so-called “Assault Weapons” ban.

This draconian legislation is designed to outlaw any semi-automatic
rifle, shotgun or pistol with a detachable magazine and any other “scary”
feature.

That could include something as simple as a thumbhole stock or muzzle
brake, which are common on many modern hunting rifles!

***  The Gag Act.

This scheme is designed to muzzle organizations like Minnesota Gun
Rights during election years by forcing us to jump through expensive
bureaucratic hoops just to mention a candidate’s name and record
during an election year!

The gun-grabbers’ goal is to ensure the ONLY people who can say
anything about a politician during election years are anti-gun media
elites and those with deep enough pockets to comply with all the
bureaucratic red tape they’ll put in our way.

In other words, only rich fat-cats like Michael Bloomberg and George
Soros!

With many GOP insiders and consultants advising State Representatives and Senators to hurry up and “compromise” on gun control to help them look “reasonable” to voters in 2018, we cannot allow this attack on our Second Amendment freedoms to go unanswered.

With a tidal wave of pressure, we can ensure that every state legislator understands that if they vote for gun control, they’ll be risking their political careers.
