I wanted to make sure you saw this horrible announcement about a major piece of gun control legislation being pushed in St Paul.
Rep. Steve Sandell introduced a bill that requires the registration of almost every single firearm in Minnesota and BANS all magazines over 10 rounds.
MGR members have been lighting up the phones and emails in St Paul against H.F. 2705 but Rep Sandell is doubling down, calling his bill “common sense” and, “Constitutional” and promising to fight Minnesota Gun Rights to get this bill passed!
So please read the short email below, if you haven’t already and take action to make sure Sandell knows we will FIGHT LIKE HELL to stop him from gutting our Second Amendment!

The fight is ON in St Paul as the 2022 legislation session kicked off on Monday.
Already we’re seeing major gun control bills being introduced and there’s one in particular that I need you to know about!
Rep. Steve Sandell (D-Woodbury) just introduced H.F. 2705 and it’s one of the worst gun control bills we’ve seen in years.
That’s because House File 2705 would:
>>> Require the registration of virtually EVERY single semi-automatic firearm in Minnesota; according to the bill, your firearm registration must include your name and address, manufacturer, make and model of your firearm, serial number and your permit to carry/purchase number. All of these must be kept up to date with the Sheriff’s Department in order to possess a firearm.
>>> BAN all magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition; requiring your magazines to be rendered permanently inoperable, shipped out of state or turned into your police department by August 1st of this year.
>>> Require all lost or stolen firearms to be reported to your local police department within 48 hours.
Failure to do any of the above could make you a FELON under this new bill!
I don’t know about you, but I have ZERO intention of complying with tyranny or sitting by while this bill moves through the legislative process!
This bill would destroy our Second Amendment in ways only seen in New York or California, that’s why we can NOT let it gain any traction or “start a conversation.”
While other pandering, anti-freedom organizations like the Minnesota Gun Owners Cuckus publicly stated that they want to see a vote on gun registration and magazine bans, Minnesota Gun Rights will be fighting tooth and nail to STOP any and ALL movement on H.F. 2705!
